35 Weeks Pregnant: The Countdown to the Big Day Continues! ⏳💪

Hello, my dear mommy and daddy! 💖 We’ve made it to 35 weeks, and everything inside is making its final preparations. You may have noticed that my movements aren’t as frequent as before—this is because I’m getting bigger, and space is getting tighter! But don’t worry, this just means we’re getting closer to meeting each other. I can’t wait to see you, and every day I hear your voice and feel your touch, it makes me even more excited! We don’t have long to go now! 😊

My Body Is Getting Ready for Birth

My body is adding the finishing touches. My lungs, brain, and other organs are rapidly completing their development. With each passing day, I’m growing stronger and more prepared for the outside world. I can’t wait for that magical first moment we meet! 🥰

Size and Appearance

Right now, I’m about 46-47 cm (18-19 inches) long—about the size of a bunch of Swiss chard! My body has filled out, and watching me on ultrasound is even more exciting. My hands, feet, face, and all my tiny features look like a fully-formed little human. It won’t be long before I’m in your arms! 👶

Fat Storage: Keeping My Body Warm! 💪

This week, I’m continuing to store fat in my body. This extra fat will help me regulate my body temperature and provide me with energy once I’m born. My skin is becoming smooth and plump, and I’m getting stronger every day. I’m a little bundle of energy, ready to keep myself warm when I arrive! 💥

My Movements: Stronger but Limited! 🕺

My muscles have become even stronger this week, but since my space inside the womb is getting smaller, my movements might feel more restricted. I may not be able to stretch out as much, but I’m still kicking and touching my face with my tiny hands. I know you can feel me moving, and each movement is my way of sending you love! 💕

Sleep Patterns: More Regular and Peaceful! 🌙

My sleep schedule is becoming more structured. I now have regular sleep and wake cycles. While I sleep, I might be dreaming sweet dreams, and when I’m awake, I’m busy exploring my little world inside. When I’m born, I’ll already have a sleep routine in place! 😴

My Brain: Growing Smarter Every Day! 🧠

My brain continues to develop at a rapid pace. The connections between my neurons are increasing, helping me think, feel, and learn. I’m now more responsive to sounds, light, and touch. Inside, I’m becoming a little philosopher, constantly learning and growing! ✨

My Lungs: Preparing for My First Breath! 🌬️

My lungs are getting stronger and preparing for that first big breath of air. I’m practicing by moving amniotic fluid in and out, mimicking real breathing movements. When I’m born, I’ll be ready to take my first deep breath of fresh air! 💧

My Immune System: Building a Strong Defense! 🛡️

My immune system is also developing fast. Thanks to the antibodies I’m receiving from you, I’m building a defense system that will protect me from illnesses when I’m born. I’m getting stronger and more resilient every day! 💪

My Skin: Soft and Protected! 🫁

My skin is still covered in vernix caseosa, a protective cream that keeps my skin smooth and hydrated. I’m growing in a safe and cozy environment, preparing to meet you in just a few weeks! 💆‍♂️

We’re in the Final Stretch! ⏳🚀

Week 35 is all about final preparations. My movements are strong, my coordination is improving, and my bond with you is growing deeper every day. I’m so grateful that you’re patiently waiting for me, mommy! Your love gives me comfort, and the big day is almost here! 💕

Highlights of This Week ✨

  • My movements are more limited: I don’t have much space left, so instead of big stretches, you’ll feel smaller shifts and nudges. But don’t worry—I’m still here, strong as ever!
  • My lungs are nearly ready: I’m almost fully prepared to breathe on my own. My first breath is going to be amazing!
  • My brain is becoming more complex: More neural connections are forming, making me smarter and more aware of the world around me.
  • My fat stores are increasing: I’m building up fat to keep myself warm and cozy after birth.
  • My senses are fully developed: I can hear, see, and even taste things inside! But your voice remains my favorite sound! 💓
  • My immune system is strengthening: Thanks to your antibodies, I’ll be protected from illnesses once I arrive.

Advice for My Mommy and Daddy ✨

Mommy, we’re only a few weeks away from birth, and your body is going through big changes! You might feel heavier and more tired, so it’s super important to rest as much as possible. Your legs and back might ache, so try elevating your feet and sleeping on your side—it will help you feel more comfortable. 🛏️

As the due date approaches, you might start feeling a bit anxious—that’s completely normal. Deep breathing exercises and meditation can help you stay calm. Reviewing your birth plan and making sure everything is ready will give you peace of mind. Also, talking to your loved ones about your excitement and concerns can help lift your spirits! 💖🧘‍♀️

If my nursery and hospital bag are ready, it’s the perfect time for some self-care! Take slow walks, read a book, or watch a movie—these little things will help you feel relaxed and refreshed before the big day. Remember, the better you take care of yourself, the smoother the birth experience will be! 😊

Daddy, mommy might need extra support during these last few weeks. Encouraging her and helping with birth preparations will make her feel more at ease. Try doing something special for her, like giving her a gentle massage or taking a walk together—it will help her feel relaxed and loved. You can also get involved in final baby preparations, making this exciting time even more special for both of you! 💕😊

More Movement and Excitement Next Week! 🎉

Next week, I’ll be even stronger! My movements may surprise you, mommy! Maybe I’ll even wake you up with a little kick. I can hear the outside world very clearly now, and I might even react to daddy’s voice! Get ready—the big day is getting closer, and the excitement is through the roof! 🎉👶
